It was completed by Dieudonn\u00e9 Saive at FN Herstal. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cheaperthandirt.com\/firearms\/handguns\/?fq=brand:FNH+USA%25%25-COMMA-%25%25+Inc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FN Herstal<\/a> named it the \u201cHigh Power\u201d in allusion to the 13-round magazine capacity.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on sources, the pistol was used by 50-100 nations. The Hi-Power (Grande Puissance, P35, H35) was produced in the millions.
