Motorcyclist killed in north Austin crash Sunday

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A motorcyclist was killed in crash in north Austin Sunday evening, according to the Austin Police Department.

The crash, involving the motorcyclist and another vehicle, happened at 8:17 p.m. at the intersection of the N. Mopac Expressway northbound service road and West Braker Lane.

The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, died at the scene, according to police. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle had minor injuries.

This is the 17th fatal crash in Austin this year, resulting in 21 deaths.
